Candlelight

We ran out of electricity for 5 hours last night because of a storm.
I lit some candles and tried to do what was possible from work, then I did some cleaning, until the boredom made me just sit at my desk and wait.
Sissi as always was sitting on my desk watching me. The porcelain illuminated by the candlelight looked so beautiful that I had to take some photos of her. I made more than 50 shots {yes, that was fun!}

Time passed faster and then the power came back. The coolest thing was that this event brought me an insight to create a new doll: she will tell the beautiful story of a small single flame that was able to illuminate a whole mount in the darkest night. I’m excited to start working on her!

The ordinary life is an endless source of inspiration, all we have to do is pause and watch it a little bit. Beauty is everywhere, on the simplest things. I hope I can bring you some bright news about this project soon!
Stay splendid!!
